Costing Workshop

Review of the Past Events

Supply chains are inherently complex with many variables affecting the ultimate cost to serve customers. Supply chains often span multiple countries, ports, factories and distribution centers to deliver goods to customers, including many forms of packaging and transport. All these factors results in millions of permutations that the Supply Chain manager must understand and manage in order to
minimize cost-to-serve customers wherever in the world.

This requires a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the supply chain as well as the cost implications in a dynamically changing environment.

The Two-Day Course will provide financial insights into 4 particular areas of logistics costs:

· Warehousing and inventory costs.
· Transport costs and route profitability.
· Supply chain planning and support costs.
· Supply chain costing and re-engineering.

Who should attend?

· Directors & managers in all supply chain management functions
· Financial & costing directors/managers
· Manufacturing directors/managers
· Retail planners and merchandisers
